 Hi, hi! It's been quite long since I posted something, so.. here I am. As you might know, I've been using Macbook Pro Touchbar for more than a year. More often than not, I use the "Expanded Control Strip" mode for my Touchbar. Why? I just don't think it's that useful for me. I love being able to mindlessly touch my Touchbar to increase volume and such, like the usual Mac keyboard. But, when I started to use Twitter app... I realize that I need emoji, and it's easier to choose from Touchbar than on screen. "Why don't you just use the Fn key to show app controls?" It's a fuss and honestly it's tiring to keep pressing the Fn button. Then, I remembered about Automator and its ability. Since I don't really understand much about Automator.. Google to the rescue. Halo! Jadi akhir-akhir ini, masalah yang gue alami adalah: laptop lemot. Ini hal biasa, sih, buat orang yang laptopnya udah berumur 2-3 tahun. Padahal spek gue ya lumayan oke, tapi kenapa masih lemot ya? Ternyata jawabannya adalah hard disk internal gue sudah lambat. Pertama, dia masih SATA 2 (3Gbps) dan cuma 5400rpm. Oh no. Gue pun mulai cari-cari solusi. Ternyata solusinya udah di depan mata, cuma duitnya aja yang nggak ada. S S D! Apa sih SSD itu? Sesad? SSD adalah kepanjangan dari Solid State Disk. Semacam flashdisk tapi dibuat hard disk, tentu dengan kemampuan yang lebih hore. Bedanya apa sama hard disk biasa? Bedanya, kalau hard disk pakai piringan yang muter (DJ???), SSD komponennya tetap di tempat. Makanya, kalau hard disk nggak boleh kegoyang-goyang (ehe), SSD silahkan aja mau dikocok (ha!), diapain, selama nggak sampai jatuh berantakan pecah. Secara dimensi pun SSD jauh lebih enteng.
